Bizarre market

I visited the murals painted on the floodwall
this past weekend during the Bizarre Market.
It was quite a busy event and showed a
diverse age range of attendees.

Did you have a favorite mural? Was there any art dialogue / crticism "On the street" about the work on view? I find the comments many children make about art, particularly public art, to be closest to the truth...

I ran into an old friend I used to cook with and we were amused with the 70's looking simple landscape that a bunch of lawyers painted by number. It was interesting to see the organization that went into leading such a group of enthusiastic but for the most part less skilled artists and the fun that they had painting by number. I like the target because of its modern look and the inherent symbolism of the targets themselves. The figures sticking out of the target give the work a feel that you don't get to experience enough with murals in the Richmond area.
