Introduction to a few Prospect 2 artists and Galleries:

Immediate goals:
Review blog, syllabus, VCU policies

Begin Media Exercise if you are taking this course for the first time. Create a proposal for your class goals if you've completed the exercise in a previous course.

Visit Reynolds Gallery and The Visual Arts Center or Richmond's current exhibitions. Document work which is relevant to your current studio practice. Post one or two pieces from this show with a work of your own to the blog. Include a paragraph or two which describes how the chosen artists' work relates to your own interests. Please check your email for the address you'll need for posting to the blog. Include any links for viewing more of your artwork on line in your text.

Bring calendars to class on Wednesday in order to determine crit dates for the rest of the term as well as mixed media exercises you've begun and materials for working during studio time on Wednesday.
