The 1st painting is watercolor surface with torn paste paper collage. The 2nd sculpture is wire on styrofoam covered with tissue paper and gold metallic paint on the support. The 3rd is masonite support with sand and tissue paper.
The collage on top is quite striking because it is simultaneously both painterly and graphic. The bottom blue piece seems to want to disperse itself - dynamic in a completely different way.
I agree with Sarah and really like #2. I didn't really think to make a 3-D component. Great idea. I am huge fan of #1 too because of its graphic quality, yet I can still appreciate the "human hand" that went into it. I can't wait to see more. You have such a variety. ~Linda
Number 1 is dancing, and she's in very sophisticated evening dress! I love it. Number 2 has a presence much bigger than I know it is, which is very cool, and 3 is powerful. Great variety. Christine

I agree that I like the first one best. I'd like to see you try the same thing with different kinds of paint to get different effects.

I like how the first post moves out of the picture plane and off the edge of the paper.
